This sword is a replica of the Norwegian sword from Hedmark, which dates back to the late 9th century. The original is kept in the Historical Museum in Oslo.

This replica has a double-edged, unpolished blade with a wide chamfer. The parry element as well as the wide knob, which is usual for this type of swords, are made of steel. The knob is riveted. The handle is wrapped with a leather strap.

The supplied sword sheath consists of leather wrapped wood and offers a steel locating plate as well as a wooden handle as a belt loop (for max. 5 cm wide belts).

This is the sword that is suitable for the fight of the Vikings.
